Ariel Atom 2 & 3 Handbooks For Sale
I was having a bit of a clear-out and came across a spare, brand new Atom 2 Handbook and a spare, brand new Atom 3 Handbook. For those who don't know, I conceived, wrote and designed these, and they were included with the car when sold new by the factory. They contain loads of useful information and...

Twenty Years Online - Party on Nov 4th?
This November 4th, we're coming up to 20 years of online social presence... Any excuse for a party - maybe an online social? Backstory is that before we had our own forum - and before Facebook was even a thing - there was Pistonheads. As club founder, I asked Ted (Dave Edmonson) if we could have our...

Ah... Enjoy! I'll be in Malta, so can't meet up. I was looking forward to it. Bum.
(You know that doesn't mesh with the 96 Club meet, though)

Possible London Run? - Now Sunday 15 May
A while back, I invited Atoms to join me at the 96 Club meeting at Chesham Place in Belgravia. It was a lovely morning. If you like Classic Cars, you'll love the 96. It takes place monthly on second Sundays which means that the next meeting will be on Sunday, 13 March from about 10.30 (Sunday mornin...

Maybe we could ask the factory to donate a used cat to the club for 3's?

Re: Recommendations for bluetooth intercom headset
I also want the capability to do an intercom with driving instructors, assuming I ever get back on track too (after this COVID mess). :( So it needs to be flexible to work with other Bluetooth kit. I guess instructors generally already have a lid with a Bluetooth kit installed? My missus doesn't co...

Re: Atom 4 - Build and Collection
It's not that I am worried in someone starting it, the car is so light you can just roll it away by releasing the handbreak, it's much harder without a steering wheel even to get it on a trailer. The other reason I opted for the removable steering wheel is I think (I could be wrong here) is that it...

I have cars professionally stored in a couple of places... Why does it have to be close to the factory?

Other suggestions: Can of WD40 wrapped in Duct Tape. One for if it moves and shouldn't, one for if it doesn't and should. A laminated map of fuses from the handbook. Extra goggles and pac-a-mac for unexpected passengers in unexpected weather Puncture repair kit. One like this https://smile.amazon.co...

WIN A TOOL ROLL (POSSIBLY FOR A NOMAD)
IMG_20191207_125447.jpg This used to be my tool roll in my Atom. It holds loads of things in separate pockets and zip-up compartments. Oh, and it fits perfectly in the massive boot! Everyone who gives me a reason will be entered into a prize draw. Names will be picked from a racing helmet next week...
