Re: After a 21 year wait ..Thank-you Forum members

Congrats! If you ever decide to write a book about the Atom as well….just take this post and print it😁. It wont let you down, it is a great experience. Pretty odd you wanted te keep the Atom under a cover outside and keep the fully weather proof MX5 inside🤪. But hey, every Atom owner is crazy in its...

Re: New to Ariel Atoms (and the forum)

Thanks @speedmachine - appreciate the swift responce. I was 98% sure I had made the right decision, however your response has sealed the deal. I know what you mean about them being rare - I dont think ive seen any model of Ariel up North on the roads, although I expect I would see a few Somerset wa...

Re: New to Ariel Atoms (and the forum)

Hi Russ, Welcome to the Ariel family. 1 and 2; you made a wise decision, allthough I hated my Lotus 3-11, it is at least as good quality wise. Its a great platform and it drives like nothing else. Basic maintainance like fluids can be done locally and myself, being abroad, bring it to the factory ev...

Re: Got myself an Atom V8

Epic stuff buddy, definitely buy earplugs, in all atoms you’ll need those underneath the helmet. I dont even bother putting a filter in, just a solid “filter” for max silencing. Also go buy a gopro, we NEED to see onboard video’s😮 Oh and the r888r are rubbish on light weight cars, it will feel like ...

Re: Owners of multiple Atom 4

In several threads (a lot of them comparing atom 4 Vs atom older) a few members have said things like "I am on my 2nd/3rd Atom 4". I am just curious as to what made you want to give up your first atom 4 in favour of your second (or give up your second in favour of the third)? Was there so...

Re: Got myself an Atom V8

Congrats on this! Very very special! Thanks for sharing as well. Would love to see every bit you want to share😁 I dont know of any active member who shares experiences with a V8. I’m on my third atom and the V8 is always on my list, but havent puller the trigger yet, probably keep it a dream as I’m ...

Re: Air bleeder from fuel tank mounting correct?

I’ve asked in the Atom 4 owners whatsappgroup for you and I’ve heard this way is correct, maybe it says “tank” on one side and “bleeder” on the other side or such. It doesnt fit the hoses if you try and mount it the other way round.

Good info, also you are welcome to send me a pm with your mobile nr and join the whatsapp group for atom 4 owners where an answer goes a bit faster😬

Re: Atom 4 vs 3.5 245 vs 3.5 SC Advice Please

So here goes. I have an atom 4 sequential with all the goodies and have owned an atom 2 sc, 3.5 245 and supercharged it myself, so can comment on all of them. The 4 is MUCH more compliant which is noticeable on roads even more than on track. If you want a rock solid car that feels like you leave a w...

Re: K20 vs K24

@adam Also there are multiple versions of the k20 installed, the later being the least desirable, but only thin margins. K20 is more of a sporty engine and likes the revs, straight out of a type R and than most times supercharged on top. The k24 is an accord engine, not built for a type R and is a b...
