Re: London - Dawn Raid - Sunday 11 June 2017

I'm still in for this and hopefully with a passenger.

I'm up for keeping it simple. Does anyone have last years route (gpx or itn?)? This seems a simple starting point, happy to convert or edit if required...

Re: Track (or closed road) tuition. Who can you recommend ?

Mark Robins does most the tuition these days, Andy Walsh seems to run the place but is more behind the scene.

Re: Track (or closed road) tuition. Who can you recommend ?

Just returned from a tuition day at Carlimits and I have to say it was absolutely spot on... It's changed my perspective on driving and also what the Nomad is actually capable of doing! Peter also joined me in his Atom and it was interesting too see the two cars back to back. It's a great location w...

Re: THE SUPERCAR EVENT 2017 – 24/25 June – Nomads going?
Are any Nomad owners going? If you'd like to go, send me a private message and I'll direct you to an organiser who can add you to the list of drivers.
Hi Steve, I'm going along on the Saturday to help with the Sporting Bears but I could also do the Sunday if...

Re: Abingdon - May 19th

Glad the move went well... Look forward to catching up in May! It seemed a tight course this time especially when I was getting used the car. The chicane half way down the runway was like a Scandinavian flick to the Nomad, hence one of the spins in my videos.  I did kill a few cones accideentaly and...

Re: Abingdon - May 19th

I was just looking for another excuse to go there again, now I've just found it!

BOOKED :-)

Kezzie - Any chance you're there in May? Was a shame to miss you on the April date.

Re: 2.4 engine - Power delivery

Funny thread as I was thinking exactly the same after taking the Nomad on track last week for the first time. The new lump seems to rev noticeably lower than the 2.0ltr engine did previously and it seems to have lost the crazy whine you got at the last 1.5k in the Atom. I found the Nomad took some g...

Looks great fun, I can't wait to go! Those tyres look perfect for that place...

Who took the photos? They're really good.

Re: Track (or closed road) tuition. Who can you recommend ?

I'm booked on an Airfield driver training day in April with Carlimits at North Weald Airfield (Essex), I'll let you know if it's any good... http://www.carlimits.com/script/viewEvents.php?type=airfieldtraining They always seem to get great reviews and book out pretty quick and I also liked the fact ...

Re: Most northern Atom/Nomad owner?!?

Nice idea to take the bike and go riding, love Scotland for this! Not entered the NoFuss, sounds brutal! Planning instead on doing the NC500 later in the year.

Whilst you are here, does the Nomad has an OBD II port anywhere?

Sorry Ian - Unfortunately that date does't work for me as I'm doing Tough Mudder... (I know where I'd rather be!)

Most northern Atom/Nomad owner?!?

As I'm just planning a road trip around Scotland and it got me wondering who is the most Northern Ariel owner in the UK? Mainland UK or further? Getting up to Scotland with a Nomad seems a proper mission from the South...
