Re: Engine idle at 5000RPM
Agree with you there NorthNoble. I believe we all have been told there are no warranties, and considering the harsh beating the car regularly gets at the track I'm still very happy with it and every service surprised not more bits have come off ;D Driving it every lap in the rev-limiter, hitting ev...

Engine idle at 5000RPM
Hi all, Out here driving and playing a little when all of the sudden the engine stays revving at 5000rpm or more. I switched of the engine and restarted after which the engine still idles at apprx 5000 rpm. It also surges upto 5300rpm and then drops back to 5000. I tried disconnecting the battery fo...

Re: NEW Ariel vehicle stickers
I assume postage to The Netherlands will be something similar. £10,50 coming your way. Just to be sure; your email ends with .co or .co.uk?
Cheers,
Pieter

They look great!
Sign me up for 2 sets, assuming it's not too much extra hassle to ship to the Netherlands.
Cheers!

Re: What tires on track @ 5 degrees C
Thanks for your replies, however as I'm not planning to drive too often in these kind of temperatures I'm not going to buy winter tires, so from the choice I have, would you suggest the AD08's or the R888/A048. I'm now leaning towards the Ad08's as I think the compound is better suited for the colde...

What tires on track @ 5 degrees C
Hi all, Some advice is needed... Next week I have a trackday at Assen (NL). Weather is forecast (for now) to be around +5 degrees C with a small chance of some rain. I know it's nuts, but I like the track and unfortunately this is the only trackday at Assen this year with the company I normally use ...

Re: Ariel Nomad
Well, new website is up, and it looks superb! Very nice homepage (not yet iPad-compatible and with at least 1 type-o ) with finally some action-footage! Looks like a b*tch to clean though, hopefully the car is fully pressure-clean proof. I call shotgun for it's first testdrive in the Benelux! ...

Re: Does Atom has Certificate of Conformity?
I'm pretty sure there isn't one as I asked Tom the same question about 1,5 years ago when I was in the process of importing my Atom. I believe they don't have one because of the limited number of cars build each year and the costs involved. But I guess you can contact the factory to be sure. Good lu...

Re: Ariel Atom jackets
Have to say I love it as well, very functional, although the durability should be better for that price. I've been using the jacket for about 3 months now and already one zipper is broken (opens even if closed, if you know what I mean) and the translucent phone pouch has a big tear in it :-[ (anybo...

Re: My first real trackday with the Atom 2 Supercharged
Cool write-up! Good to hear you liked it and it was still able to impress despite your experience with other fast toys... I grew up about 1 km from the TT-circuit, so I really can't wait until my first go :vroom: I believe you mentioned the trackday was organised by Driving fun? Do they have the op...

5th Gear North Pole trip to North Pole
Hey guys,
just curious. In the 5th Gear Atom review, there is mention of a trip to the North Pole with an Atom. Is there anymore known footage or write-ups about this trip?
Regards,
Pieter

At last...
It's been a couple of months since I picked her up, first service done, so time for a little write-up about my first experiences with the car. I ordered the car in february last year, planning for it to be finished by the end of 2012, so I could pick it up in january which should give me enough time...
