That's interesting as my 3 5R, when not stuck in traffic and in clear air, generally runs between 82° and 88° - even in the Cyprus summer - and the electric fan usually kicks in at circa 93° - 94° and cuts out at 88°.
However this may be because I retrofitted, on Steve Roooke's advice, an Atom V8 radiator to better cope with the Cyprus summer temperatures which regularly get up into the middle 40°s!
- he said that he thought it would be a nuch better choice, in my case, than the dual radiator hot weather option.
