Aah, I didn't realise that Nick had a sports exhaust, I thought that it was standard.

I'll add it to the long ,long list of things I don't know ;D

That's a sports exhaust for you! He just needs a stock back box for Combe.

My 3.5,310 was 94db at 4,500, when tested at Castle Combe, so it sounds about right.

Just did my first track day yesterday in my (new to me) Atom Cup.

Static sound was measured at 98dB at 6k revs. I commented to the chap "that's good news, I'll be able to do a 98dB day next time"

He said 98dB days are only measured at 4,500revs and so re-did the test and only recorded 93dB

This is goods news but seems too good to be true...?
