We had a splendid day out again, helped by the weather and the company.

Picking up tips all the time, thanks for the info for a lightweight jacket Steve and Andrew for letting me know my attempt to LED my rear lights really didn't work!!  Just ordered some Wipac replacements from ebay. Hopefully get them on before I need to go out again!!

We stopped off at Hayling Island on the way home for old times sake (holiday as a kid) for an equally overpriced icecream.

Looking forward to the next trip out - Goodwood next Sunday?

Chris

I enjoyed also, it was for all day, £8.00, the fact we weren't made it heavy. Food was rubbish. Company was great and great to be out in the car with sun shining.

Great day out in the sunshine £8.00 parking and £2.40 for a portion of chips was a bit harsh ,still for a tenner I've spent a lot more in the past....

Hi chaps, mind if I join you? A run to the coast sounds just the ticket!
I might try an persuade my little boy to join me.
I'll see you in Putney at 9.

The route is 70 miles. Down the A3 past Guildford, then we'll go into the Sussex countryside down to the coast.

Given this warm weather, I fancy the seaside. So let's head for West Wittering, as planned. It's a great, expansive beach. I'll plan a route this afternoon.

9am departure from my garage in Putney (Rayners Road SW15).

Hi folks,
Any of you London chaps seen the Soho Parish Primary School? I installed the new facade/play structure and it's just received recognition in some design awards.

Cheers,

Gav  ;D

I think if we go New Forest, we are going to have to go early. Or we'll just sit in traffic jams. Not dawn-early, but before the masses hit the roads.

How about a coffee stop in the New Forest then on to Hayling Island for Julian's sea view with chips

Not too early! Is there a car gig on we could make for?

Everywhere is going to be busy. Still fancy a seafront but would settle for a forest and a country pub
