Andrew
We were worried Nick would be scooping up ponies on Dartmoor at Devon Dash

Re the calendar I have no pictures from the Border Blast this year. There must be some good ones somewhere? Got some of my own but wasn’t planning to use any of my own photos in the calendar

Graeme,
May i suggest Sir Nick's picture of the unfortunate Pheasant in his air intake {his cars i hasten to add} for the Hallowe'en part of the calendar? The horror! the horror! Apart from that i hope folks up north are entering into the spirit of things and sending you some pic's.I have seen some some great paint job's on atoms and we have some world beating backdrops in the Borders and Scotland.
Cheers ,
Andrew.

Thanks for the photos sent in so far. Some great shots in there. After the initial rush of submissions its slowed to a trickle now. I know there are still some more good photos out there so please send through your best. I have already got about 70 photos, but make my job even harder in selecting the 12.

I will leave it open for another 2 weeks until Friday 26 October, so you got plenty of time

Cheers

We already have some group shots and I am assuming we have permission from this in picture to use. I could blank out individual numberplate where they show. I may place more than one photo in one month if they're related. Early days yet

I suppose 'group shots' (from events / track days and the like) would be a way to squeeze more metal in to the calendar, but I'm guessing these would be trickier to source and get 'group' permission to use.

Hope Steve's collage skills are up to scratch ;-)

Thanks chaps, some great shots coming in, but still want many more. Nomads are outnumbering the atoms big time so far. Already can see its going to be difficult to choose.

Maybe we can have a calendar divided into weeks and have 52 pictures? Hmmm

Hi all, I'm helping put together the club calendar for 2019. This is an opportunity for you to get your favourite shot into the calendar, to help us all celebrate our passion for these vehicles. I will collect the pictures, and then Alex Brandon-Smith, Steve Gibson and I will have the difficult task of pulling out the best, for inclusion in the calendar. The calendar will be available for purchase later this year. Details to be advised. This post is also on Facebook Ariel club group.

Process & Guidelines

1. Photos in the best resolution possible. In most cases this is original format pictures on your camera or phone, and not those from facebook or WhatsApp etc which have been compressed. Go back to the original format rather than that you posted on social media.
2. Your own photos or those you have with clear copyright permission.
3. Generally photos from last 2 years ( we didn't have a calendar last year). See "Ideas" section below. Older photos of merit ok, if they haven't been published or circulated widely before.
4. When you send your pictures, if its not immediately obvious, please include some information such as; when the photo was taken (roughly), where, whose vehicle it is, who took the photo, and any other relevant information that will help us appreciate the photo more.
5. Email your pictures to arielclubcalendar@gmail.com . Apologies, I will not be able to acknowledge emails. Your email client should be able to confirm safe receipt.
6. I will advise deadline as soon as I have established printer's production deadlines, but assume you won't have more than October to send these in. So, as soon as possible please, so we can get them by Christmas/year end.
7. The judges decision is final.
8. We may seek further information from you on some pictures.
9. This is for all Ariel owners, admirers or agents worldwide.
10. Given it will be difficult to select just 12, if your photo is not selected, we may seek with your permission of course, to use your excellent photo in a future calendar, or other club media.
