I believe a few have used Steve at Mint Condition UK in Chelmsford. Attached is the latest Atom 4 template he sent me last week when I enquired Image

Hi all
My car comes around September and I'm keen to find a great PPF provider with AA4 experience within striking distance of Berkhamsted - Hertfordshire.

Any recommendations?

Anyone had any PPF done in the South West and pleased with the result, ideally Devon?

I have a GR Yaris with 40 miles on it and doubt I will be able to see it for months, as stuck in Hong Kong. Therefore, going to sell the garage queen.

Thanks, I'm very pleased with it in the flesh.
Mind you, I've got a Yaris GR on order too, so we're bound to agree πŸ‘πŸ˜‰
Cheers,
Stu

I'm really pleased with the job that they did with both pre-cut and bespoke cuts for top notch ppf. The areas that can't be covered have been ceramic coated and the finish looks absolutely great in real life.

They are Scudo Forte in Hampshire : https://www.scudoforte.co.uk/ 02393 233 978

I have absolutely no affiliation with them but they are real car enthusiasts and I will be taking other vehicles to them.

I am glad you posted that pic as that is bang on what I am thinking of ordering colour scheme wise and it looks superb.

Is ceramic coating the new snake oil? A few guys have had it done and tbh having had a couple of cars detailed, products like collinite are cheap, easy to apply and seriously good. Would Β£1500 upfront work out cheaper than a detail pre sale, along with applying helicopter tape to wishbones etc?

Yep, having spent all day looking at boring compliance rubbish, anything is likely to be more interesting, so please do share.

That's a fair point and I have no idea just how long it will last (although it does have a 10 year guarantee.)

For me though, adding the ceramic coat was a chunk of the cost and it should make it easier to keep looking good. I hate cleaning the bloomin' thing.

Cheers,
Stu

i thought about the ppf

but surely Β£1500 would get the car proper tidied up at the end of ownership.......... if needed?

You missed the wheels old friend, they are the new ones too ;D

It's a dull and not forum worthy story. I'll bore you with it over a beer hopefully at some point later in the year if you're about.

Cheers,
Stu
