No need to wait for Speed to air it. Still up on the iTunes store as a free download. Watch it in HD. There's even a game now for iPhone and Touch users.

I totally agree. It will be permenantly on my DVR till the damn thing breaks. Its one of those rare videos that remind us how great the sport of auto racing truly is.

The Truth in 24 was probably the best automotive documentary I've ever seen.  Its a classic.  In the US, it will be shown on Speed TV tonight at 9:00 PM eastern time, 6:00 on the west coast.  I highly recommend it.

This segment is from the Truth in 24. I love his (McNish) enthusiasm and passion as he describes in detail one lap of the circuit. Great stuff and a great documentary.

Keep in mind, the iTunes one is higher resolution at 843x480. If you can get it. If not the BitTorrent one is pretty good at 640x368 although it has a ESPNHD crawler  ::)  across the entire bottom of the frame 99% of the duration that the iTunes one did not. Just FYI.

This is being shared as a torrent, and the link is available here.  It's x264 .mp4 and 1.4gb in size, and I found this as posted on another automotive forum that I frequent.  If you download it, please be sure to seed a bit afterward as well.  Looks to be very good quality.

even though it is free it is still protected with stupid DRM. 

My favorite parts are when then rebuild the entire car in 15 minutes during a race and when one of the drivers explains the whole course.  You can really see his love for racing.

Hmm, not on amazon either.  Pretty frustrating 'cos it looks like a fabulous film.  Anyone in the US fancy popping the iTunes download onto a DVD and posting it over?

It looks like it's only in the US store, which needs a billing account over there, so it couldn't be downloaded.

I even tried using my AOL account but since they were bought out over here by a UK company it's changed how that works as well.  :(
