Actually reflecting on all the posts on the 2-11 I think that there is more carping and negative stuff written on here about the Atom than there ever was about the lotus.  In general, other than aesthetically, people were pretty supportive of the car.

Wtf did you think you were going to get on a forum dedicated to a rival marque? I actually think the comments were pretty tame, and no one said they didn't like your car.

Still, if you're going to get all chippy, then bye bye... enjoy seloc - where, of course, there's never a bad word said about Atoms...

What unnecessary comments? a few comments on the decals are all I can recall.  Saw someone else's 2-11 in the flesh at Silverstone the other week, looked allright, hope that is a more positive comment for you

For what it's worth, I LOVE your car.  BRG/Yellow with red interior is perfect.  If I had a Lotus, I'd do the same....would love to have an Exige in those colors. :drool:

Thje joy of one car forums!  I knew you would get a hard time when I asked for photo's, but that's the fun.  A few more posts and views and this thread'll also be in the "Atom" forums top 10 threads along with the one about X-Bows!  ;)

woaw, that was confusing, the only clear thing i know about Lotus is that James Hunt's bro sold Lotus F1 team when they were in the red (circa 1994/5)

but yeah, a longer version of the Renault Spyder if you ask me about the 2eleven, nice...

Nope - it's predecessor wasn't the Exige S - good old wikipedia - inaccurate as ever.  If you want to be pedantic it's a reincarnation in the spirit of the Lotus Eleven - hence the name.  It doesn't have a modern predecessor - it's based loosely around the Elise chassis with mods, with the same engine as the Exige, but also different, in the same way as the Elise SC is similar but different. 

The car has always had a road legal option in the UK.  So to start with it has always been road legal.
