We're in trouble.  I think when the time comes(60 days or so)we will try our luck again with USAA, and cross our fingers.  Never know maybe we will have better luck.  I am worried about the garage.  We have none.

If you can get progressive they dont care.  Chrome did not mention anything so you would have to ask.  Rally definitely does and I believe classic does as well.  Rally will let you use a locked garage at a different location so a storage center or a friend's garage would work.   Where are you going to keep your atom?

Costco shelter.  We still haven't built the garage for the house.  Thank goodness too.  Two 100+ ft hemlocks just came down in the storms a few months back right in the planned location of the garage.  Had to take out 6 trees.  Mark will take out 6 - 8 more soon.  It's weird how a guy's personality changes when you give him a chainsaw.  Talk about a kid in a candy store.

Guys, I went to a "Home Show" a few weeks ago and several insurance companies were there...I talked to alot of local companies that act like brokers...each one sounded positive at 1st, but 2 of the 4 followed up with me after researching and offered me insurance for the Atom. These are not companies Id find on the web, but insurance brokers. Price was a little steep at about 700-800 for 6 months.  I didnt ask about track time, as these were messages they left on my voice mail.  So...shop locally. Ma Pops.

the age thing is going to be the hard part for me.

I'd have thought that all the waiting for your Atom to arrive would have aged you.  ;D
It did, just not to 26 yet ;)  Next year...

Aww to be young and have a extra money.  Savor that.  Though that doesn't help with the insurance any.  Sorry
What do you mean, you're young anyway and seem to have the money.  ;)

From what I remember Rally and Classic requires a garage, not sure about locked

They also have age minimum requirements, Must have perfect driving record in last 3 years, some allow 1 offense but none that I talked to would allow 2 offenses.  I think the minimum age I found was 26.

Bolus,
Do Rally, Chrome, or Classic offer insurance to thoughs without a locked garage?

I do think someone here got their insurance through USAA you should definitely call them.
USAA told me no. As a result, I stopped doing business with them. They lost a 10 year customer... but hey, they make a bajillion bucks a year.

Bolus, thanks for the post as I must start the insurance"process" very soon. I don't imagine that USAA will cover the Atom.
