Absolutely! And there are other lovely roads around there, too

Oh, and here's a pic from the day:

It's really cool to appreciate that owning one of these cars means you can make friends all over the world.

It was a total pleasure meeting you both at Alice's and rest assured that I shall try those roads we drove myself. They're brilliant.

Talking of brilliant roads, we did Ebbetts Pass last week. That is one fantastic road. Like the very best alpine road, but with a billiard table surface. Sensational.

Oh and it was great to meet someone for whom the litany question, 'Did you build it yourself?' could be answered by 'Yes'.

So Ebbett's Pass is worth the trip?  I may have to check it out next year - my parents are moving not too far from the East end.

Should we plan a rendez-vous at Alice's, then?

Easy for me!  What time would you be at 84 and Skyline Bruce?  Weather depending, there will be ~100 bikes, exotics, etc there.

That's a really nice route, and you'll go right by our ranch both times.  Be careful on Hwy 9  - lots of cops there, esp around Boulder Creek.

I sent Bruce a PM, but I guess planning has moved to this thread. If Saturday the 29th is the SFO->Santa Cruz run, then I am also planning to be in attendance.

So you'll be in Los Angeles on a Monday?  As much as I'd like to intercept the funparty at the Hard Rock, I don't think I'll be able to get away from work to do so.  :'(

By the way...

If anyone wants anything relatively small brought out from the UK, please let me know and if it gets to me in the Uk in time, I'll bring it with.

Nice eyes indeed. Still has apparently and she might be making a return also so I hear. No holiday or southfork for me though.
