Just got home after extending my holiday.

Brilliant.

Bod's Tour Diary is an excellent reminder, and I'll be writing up and blogging my experiences...

Thanks to everyone taking part for making this such an excellent tour.

Roll on 2016...

Congratulations to Richard and Helen.

I'm packed. Satnav files uploaded. Just need this jetlag to subside and then I'll be on my way.  :)

ANOTHER Mini Marler coming? I thought you were tiring yourself out racing Atoms?  :)

Good luck and have a great time guys and girls. I managed to withstand the enormous peer pressure from a certain Andy and Bod, to pitch up last minute, leaving Helen with Sam (oh and another on the way). I am not altogether sure she would have reacted well to that.

Drive safe and keep us updated with progress.

Iv'e set up a Whats app page up if any body has it on their phone ,that you can say or post anything you like. Face book is o k but you you have to watch you Ps and Qs and ladies are likely to read it . Taking a photo of Bruce having a wazz in the snow is not always  a thing you would post on facebook,  so if you want me to add you pm me with your name and telephone number.

Sure thing. It's there for COUTA trippers and their mates/partners/lovers to watch.

is it ok to add a few of my friends to 'like' the fb page? :)

As most of you know, Brucie set up a Carry On Up The Alps Facebook page where we can upload pictures, rather than to this thread, which can be troublesome because of size restrictions. Feel free to add your own updates to the page during the trip:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/COUTA/660869484006713?fref=ts

Or you can let friends/relatives/mistresses check your progress, by giving them the FB page to watch.

T minus 3 days...

Anyone got any last minute questions, panics or urgent needs?

...and travel insurance and/or up to date European Health Insurance Card

If you don't have one, apply here:

With just 18 days to go, it's worth doing a quick checklist of essentials you mustn't forget to pack:

1. Passport
2. Swiss motorway vignette (unless you plan to buy it en route)
3. Insurance certificate/V5 (copies are OK). Don't forget to tell your insurer that you're going abroad.
4. Spare bulbs, fuses, fluorescent top/vest, mini first aid kit, breathalyser (two in a pack), warning triangle
5. GB sticker or GB'd number plate
6. Satnav

Spare clothing, wife/girlfriend, boiled sweets, are all optional.

Latest list:

Steve & Lynsey
Bruce & Kathryn
Andy & Holly
Bod & Bart
Rob
George
Andrew H
Andrew B (F-Type)

Julian (last four days)
Simon (last four days)

So that's seven Atoms and an F-Type for the whole trip, and two Atoms joining at the Black Forest.

As in previous years, we'll need to email people stuff nearer the trip and request shirt orders from you. Can everyone going please send an email to bruce@hotmail.co.uk? Then we'll have a mass emailing list.

Thanks.
